UNDP WASH KAP Survey Study

UNDP WASH KAP Survey Study

Overview:
We were contracted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to conduct a comprehensive Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) survey related to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). This study aimed to gather critical data to inform behavior change strategies and public health interventions.

Scope and Requirements:
The project included several stages:

  • Tool Development & Pilot Testing: We assisted in developing and pilot testing the KAP survey tools to ensure data validity and reliability.

  • Baseline Survey: Collected baseline data from 4,000 respondents, delivering a cleaned dataset in the agreed tabulation format.

  • Experiment Messaging & Midline Survey: Conducted experimental messaging activities and a midline survey involving an additional 4,000 participants, as well as experimental game-based behavioral data collection.

  • Business Listings and Telephonic Surveys: Included supplementary tasks like business data listings (snowball method) and telephonic interviews based on structured tools.

What We Delivered:

  • Clean and structured datasets for each stage (pilot, baseline, midline, and experimental).

  • Lists of participants for each survey and experiment.

  • Timely delivery of all datasets and documentation in line with UNDP’s technical and formatting requirements.

  • Data suitable for statistical analysis and policy recommendation.

This study showcases our capacity to manage large-scale data collection, implement behavior-based research methodologies, and collaborate with international development organizations.
